If a software should be judged on the merits of what it sets out to do, it's hard to assign XlsX Viewer anything but a top grade. Just keep in mind that XlsX Viewer is a read only piece of software, so don't expect to be able to create and edit documents from scratch. Being free certainly helps earn its place on the hard drive of thrifty users, and its ability to stand alone from the larger Microsoft Office ecosystem is a nice relief. Add in the ability to read plain text files and you have a software platform that could be useful to more casual users.
